The filler silo plays a critical role in the asphalt production process, ensuring that mineral fillers are efficiently stored, delivered to the mixer and utilized. Consisting of two main sections, the silos are designed to store outsourced and reclaimed fillers separately. In this system, collected filler is fed to the intermediate hopper via a screw conveyor and bucket elevator, while excess filler is directed to the reclaimed filler silo via an overflow pipe. Since filler is an important raw material that improves the quality of asphalt, it needs to be managed correctly. Roader Makina has the capacity to produce filler silos in different diameters and sizes according to customer requirements, which provides advantages in terms of flexibility and customization.
